"I cried for you"

A conversation between GMAC and U, after U's swim practice.

GMAC: I missed you; I cried for you.
U: I was at swimming.
GMAC: I asked my mom, where you were; my mom said "U" with him swim teacher.
I missed you; I cried for you.
U: I missed you too.

On Salvation.

Can people be saved without willing it?
The common answer to the question is, No. But there is a prime example of salvation going to people who don't will it, baptized babies who die early. Those kids never sinned, but never willed god either, but there parents did.

Even in the Bible there is an example of someone being saved by another Faith: Luke 5:17-26.
It says: When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven." The man was paralyzed and did nothing, so it was not his faith but his friends faith that saved him.

Now here is the big question, is this an event that only occurs when the person is unable to make an act of will on there own? I am uncertain of this, for sin can pass from human to human (Best example: Original Sin)

There is my little musing for today....

Confirmation Retreat

For the past several months I have been helping teach a Confirmation class at Our Lady of the Fields . This has been a wonderful experience, and Scott (the youth minister) allowed me to help out with the Confirmation retreat as well.

They had an awesome skit where a girl asks Jesus to come to her...

And she nails Jesus to the cross.

This was our band during the weekend.

This is my favorite skit, it is the stations of the cross, along side a story of a high school girl.

My Confirmation sponsor Deacon Joseph Gill had a talk on prayer.

Treehouse building day....I lost count

We have been building the treehouse for several days now. Some of my friends and I finished the framework yesterday, and today more friends came over and helped me put up two walls.
My friends and I standing around
Holding up a wall is hard work.

Treehouse building day 3

Yesterday we invited some friends over to help build the Treehouse, we managed to get the entire floor done and begun framing one of the walls.

You may be wondering why I am wearing a Santa hat, it is because my mother said "you must wear a hat before you go outside" and this is the first one I found

This picture was taken from the treehouse floor

That looks like a difficult way to hammer.

Treehouse building Day 3

Have you been wondering why we did not work on the treehouse for the last few days, the answer: Our dad wanted to be helping us put in the initial frame so we could be certain it was level. Sadly for the past week by the time my dad came home it was dark outside. So we had to wait to work on Saturday.

This is the treehouse outer frame with "U"standing next to it.

Sadly I have no other pictures because we were not holding the camra at that time.

Treehouse Building Day 1

We finally started building our tree house. The first step was to drill holes in the ground, we used this:

Just kidding!!! It looked more like this :

Sadly it was 5" to short, so we (meaning my Dad) had to hand dig the rest.

Tomorrow we will probably finish building the base...hopefully...

End of soccer season.

Soccer season ended on the 7th , we lost a total of 3 games.

Here are some pictures from our families soccer season.
Rose is actually pretty fast for her size

Sometimes size beats speed...

The size difference is quite funny.
I think that is the same kid...

I do not remember the context of this picture...

things get quite rough out on the field.

That is my friend, he is the best Goalie EVER!.

Well Inch hit another milestone (pun intended) in a active young mans life.
While playing soccer he was hit in the head with the ball and suffered a mild concussion!

We are not sure exactly when in the game it happened because he continued to play (he was on an adrenaline rush) We only found out when one of his friends came to us after the game and told us that he was dizzy and had been throwing up.
Inch has an early game and the rest of the kids play after he does. Inch and his friends sit around and talk and joke while their siblings play their games.

We took him to the ER and a CT scan came back normal. The doctor said that it was only a mild concussion.

Inch is doing fine , he has a bad headache and is just a little dizzy especially when he moves too fast.

It is awefully quiet

I was sitting at home reading when my Mom yelled out "Where is GMAC?" We looked over to see this...
Okay GMAC is really smart, she pushed the chair over to open the cabnet....and she stole the screwdriver (Who knows what she planned to do with it.)

Adventurers we are!

We have a huge amount of trees in our backyard.

That's only part of the forest

I would call it a forest. We were bored Sunday so we called over some of my friends to explore it with us.
Adventurers we are!

There were several rivers, ("U" tried to vault across one. Emphasis on tried)
We also came upon a strange fence in the middle. We found a hole in the fence and got to an abandoned construction lot...it was cool.

"U" using his superpowers to make a hole in the fence

Also I learned an important lesson...

Never let your brother know you are going to take a picture of him, he will hog the camera.

what we have done

Since we are moving, we have no time to show you interesting things WE have done...
(by the way, we have not done anything interesting anyhow.)
so here are things other people have done. (pictures from Google images.)

Pray that plane doesn't start

Birds like ice cream too!!

Has hunting become a more relaxed sport lately?

What to choose what to choose...

Predictions

I love this scheduled post thingamabob.
I am actually writing this on Sunday.

My guess is that as you are reading this me and my Dad are "trying" to work together.
To be honest this is how it is going:
I am carrying a box of flooring, I trip and drop them all.
Me and my dad have to pick up all the pieces.

Later on: We are putting in flooring.
In this sentience "we" means my Dad, and "Putting in" means Dad going gray and pulling his hair out.

Later on: We learn that Aliens are attacking America on a quest to steal all our flooring. They blow off our roof, leaving me to do ninja-like moves to save the world.

At least that is my guess...
