Paying attention at Mass

Jesus sent out these Twelve after instructing them thus,
“Go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.’
Cure the sick, raise the dead,
cleanse lepers, drive out demons.
Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.” Mt. 10:5-8

Yesterday at Mass the Gospel was from Mathew 9 & 10. As the Gospel was read, immediately after hearing "lepers" GMAC said to me( with her eyes really big)" I like leopards, I like real leopards, not pretend one!"

"Share"

GMAC is at the age where she is figuring things out, and also saying the cutest things.

Today at Mass during peace time GMAC signed peace to the gentleman behind us, then she smiled and told him "it's my birthday." "It's U's birthday", I corrected her. She then turned to me and said with the cutest look on her face. "Share"

Our little cutie

GMAC is 22 months now and is learning her letters. At the end of the video clip you can watch her say butterfly. "Butterpie" is the cutest thing she says.

The Little Helper

Every time Dad is doing work around the house G-MAC feels the need to help him out. Well when he was tiling the bathroom it was no different.

Nice Doggie

G-MAC, loves to crawl around the house pretending to be a dog. She's been doing this since she was 16 months old. It's the cutest thing to watch. She even plays tug-of-war like a puppy!

Where's the fish?

In the past week we've been to two different churches that has a baptismal font with flowing water. As soon as GMAC heard the flowing water, she started to sign water, then she signed bath. When we went to look at the font she signed and said "fish" and was looking for the fish. She was quite facinated . It is the cutest thing to watch.

A tale of two sisters

Here is a funny observation

Both Mallu Mom and I have sisters with the same first name.

But the similarities don't end there.

Both sisters

  • work with young children in classrooms
  • are very artistic
  • have gotten into photography
  • have turned their photography into side businesses
  • Look and act younger than they are
  • are very funny
  • they are both very helpful
  • are very loved by their Nieces and Nephews

Daddy and Me

Well it really has been a busy week for us. Lots of things that we wanted to post about but just never did.

The boys have been gone to camp for the last week and I have taken this time to really pour a lot of attention into Mystical Rose. Usually the boys, especially Inch, get the lions share of the attention because ....well they are just bigger and louder. Its not that we just ignore Rose but she has such a giving soul that she really thinks of others needs a lot. Well this week we were able to go to the pool almost every day (notice how dark we have both gotten) and I have been able to read to her a good deal from a story that we started months ago. But while it has been a very nice week. We were all just commenting at lunch yesterday how much we all miss the boys.

Little Monkey

"what happened?"
"GMAC happened."

I have been hearing those words A LOT. GMAC is a very curious child, she likes to do anything and go anywhere. Including out the door...which she just learned to open. Yesterday she just opened the door and walked outside, she is just 13 months, boy are we in trouble!
At least there is hope.
This little monkey was imitating us during prayer, it is even cuter in person. She even tries to bless herself, although Holy, Son, Spirit, Father is not the order :)
