"Pope"
As I was teaching Mystical Rose today, GMAC got into an end table drawer where I keep prayer cards. She brought over a card and said "Pope,Pope!" I was surprised and wondered out loud how does she know that's the Pope. Rose reminded me that GMAC saw the same picture at the National Shrine bookstore, that was on Dec 21! She has a sharp memory.

SOLEMNITY OF MARY, MOTHER OF GOD
Today the Church celebrates the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God!
"Marvelous is the mystery proclaimed today: human nature is made new as God becomes man; he remains what he was and becomes what he was not. Yet each nature stays distinct and for ever undivided."
--- Canticle of Zechariah
