Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ
Our Church had a beautiful Mass at noon to celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi, followed by a Eucharistic Procession. It really brought back memories of my childhood, this was very common where I grew up in India. -Mallu Mom
Last year in Germany, we had our Corpus Christi procession actually go through the streets--I think we walked for about a mile and a half or so through downtown Cologne with incense and song. Being up front with the banner, I had a very good view. The reverence showed to the Eucharist was surprising. For example, we passed a homeless man riding his bicycle. He got down off his bicycle, took off his hat, and knelt in the gutter until we were out of sight.
